Emcee Reg Chapman
We are so grateful Reg Chapman emceed our EMERGE Together event on September 29! Reg is an award-winning journalist/reporter with WCCO TV and is a highly community-minded leader who has contributed his time and talents to many organizations, especially those serving youth and families in North Minneapolis.
Reg has been a reporter in New York City and in Pittsburgh where he has covered an array of important stories. He has received the Edward R Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting and several Associated Press awards and Journalism honors, including being honored as a Black Achiever by the YMCA.
Jazz Musician Wenso Ashby
A special thanks to jazz pianist and composer Wenso Ashby who performed at our EMERGE Together event!
Wenso Ashby is an American contemporary jazz pianist and prolific composer creating music characterized as blend of neo-soul, pop, and smooth jazz. His continued love affair with music and the piano inspires him to compose music that creates a relaxing mood with memorable moments for a life time.
